Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all bookings, visits, and use of our website. By making a reservation or dining with us, you agree to these Terms.

 

1. General Information

  • The Avenue Restaurant & Wine is operated by Zamani Catering Limited.
  • We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website.

 

2. Reservations

  • Reservations can be made online, by phone, or in person.
  • We may request card details to secure your booking. In some cases, a deposit may be required.
  • If you are running late, please inform us. We will hold your table for 15 minutes, after which the reservation may be released.
  • For large parties (typically 6 or more), pre-orders or set menus may be required.

 

3. Cancellations & No-Shows

  • We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or changes to your booking.
  • Failure to show up without notice may result in a cancellation charge per guest.

 

4. Food, Drink & Allergies

  • Allergen information is available on request. Please notify us of any dietary needs when booking or on arrival.
  • While we take great care, our kitchen handles all major allergens, and we cannot guarantee that dishes are completely allergen-free.
  • Outside food and drinks may not be brought into the venue unless agreed in writing with management.

 

5. Service & Conduct

  • We expect all guests to treat our staff and premises with respect. Aggressive, abusive, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in removal.
  • Management reserves the right to refuse service at any time.

 

6. Age Restrictions & Challenge 25

  • We operate a Challenge 25 policy. Guests who appear under the age of 25 must provide valid photo ID (passport, driver’s licence, PASS card) to purchase alcohol.
  • Alcohol will not be served to guests without valid ID.

 

 7. Dress Code

  • Smart casual attire is expected. Management reserves the right to refuse entry if a guest’s attire is deemed inappropriate.

 

8. Pets & Children

  • Well-behaved children are welcome, but parents/guardians remain responsible for their supervision at all times.
  • Pets are permitted inside the restaurant, but guardians remain responsible for their supervision at all times

 

9. Payments & Charges

  • We accept major debit and credit cards as well as cash.
  • A discretionary service charge is added to a bill of 6 parties or over; this is shared amongst staff through our tronc system.
  • All prices include VAT unless otherwise stated.

 

10. Website Use

  • The content of this website is for general information only and may be subject to change without notice.
  • We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate but do not guarantee completeness or suitability for any purpose.
  • Unauthorised use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages.

 

11. Liability

  • The Avenue does not accept responsibility for loss or damage to guests’ personal belongings on the premises.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses.

 

12. Force Majeure

  • We shall not be liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including strikes, utility failures, accidents, pandemics, acts of God, or other emergencies.

 

13. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
